Meadows in Strasbourg offers ready-to-move-in options, countryside views in prime location | Houses

As the supply of resale homes continues to remain tight, more buyers are discovering the benefits of building a new home, and one of the most desirable new home communities in Lancaster County is Meadows in Strasbourg.

Construction is going well in this EGStoltzfus district, with multiple possibilities to move in before the end of the year.

Nestled off Strasburg Pike in the heart of Amish country, Meadows at Strasburg is all about location, offering country living with panoramic farmland views and close proximity to local attractions, shopping and dining.

The neighborhood is minutes from Place de Strasbourg, Sight & Sound Theaters and the Strasbourg Railway, as well as local restaurants and shops such as Fireside Tavern, Speckled Hen, Hershey Farm and Strasburg Marketplace. It offers quick access to Route 30 and an easy commute to suburban Philadelphia or Delaware.

The neighborhood is also part of the Lampeter-Strasburg School District, which recently ranked first among Lancaster County school districts in U.S. News & World Report’s 2022 Best High Schools ranking.

Phase 1 of Meadows in Strasbourg was opened to the public in April, with 24 reception sites and a model house. Interest has been high, with 21 lots sold and six families already moved in. 24 additional house sites in phase 2 have now been released, offering countryside views and flat land.

Pricing starts in the mid $400s.

Both phases offer nine floor plans, including one-story and first-floor owner’s suite options to meet a variety of lifestyle needs. One of the most popular Phase 1 floor plans, the Filmore, has been redesigned as the Ardmore and now includes an optional two-story living room with mezzanine.

The second house, a four-bedroom Jameson Classic at 8 Bridle Lane, Strasbourg, has an extended dining room, a cathedral ceiling in the owner’s bedroom, 5-inch engineered oak hardwood planks on the first floor and a kitchen with granite counter tops, ceramic tile backsplash, stainless steel appliances and pull-out waste/recycling cabinet.
