Natalie A. Lewis of Saunders offers Hamptons real estate advice

After attending Parsons School of Design and FIT, Natalie A. Lewis embarked on a successful career appearing in print and television commercials. When it became clear to her that it was time to move on, she moved on to the next chapter in multi-marketing sales and interior design. Since then, she has found her true passion as a successful real estate agent at the Saunders Westhampton Beach office. She tells THE DAILY SUMMER about her former career and what she loves about her current role.

You have such an interesting background!
Thanks. It was an interesting trip. It all started when I was going to college in New York, dreaming of becoming an interior designer. I found myself working in the entertainment industry with Abrams Artists Agency, booking print ads and TV commercials, such as Clinique, Coca-Cola, and Sears, to name a few. Then I was up for the role of Al Pacino’s mistress in the movie Noriega. After several auditions and reaching the final round, I felt like this was my big break, the movie never went into production and it was my cue to move on. At the time, there was no social media or Instagram, so I didn’t realize how far I had come in the industry. Although I regularly booked work and had many amazing experiences, it was ultimately not my passion. I have since worked in multi-marketing sales and design, and now live my passion for 14 years selling lifestyles and dreams.

What are the similarities between entertainment and real estate?
Both are a bustle and not for the faint of heart! You need to be driven, resilient, motivated and creative to stand out. Both are on sale!

How is it to work with you?
I am very involved in all aspects, from directing to photography to marketing, because I like the creative side as much as the commercial side. Unlike what you see on real estate reality TV shows, I don’t bring drama into the business, and I don’t like it either. I am friendly, energetic and fun loving!

Tell us about some properties you are passionate about.
I have two exciting properties that are uniquely different. One is a renovated contemporary on a quiet cul-de-sac in Westhampton. It is nestled on two acres with a tennis court, heated pool and putting green. It has 21-foot high ceilings in the round great room with floor-to-ceiling windows, serene views, plenty of natural light, and water views from balcony rooms. Just down the road there is bay access for kayaking and paddleboarding. It’s a chic and fun house!

It looks like it!
The other property is a renovated classic 1920s farmhouse in the heart of Westhampton Beach Village. It is a perfect blend of quirky charm mixed with modern design. It has a cozy porch, the coveted open floor plan with wall-to-wall glass sliders offering indoor/outdoor living, a heated pool, and a universal EV charger in the garage. It’s just two blocks from great restaurants and shopping on Main Street. It’s about a mile from the beach. This is the epitome of Hamptons living!

What is your advice for a new buyer?
If you find a home that ticks all your boxes, don’t hesitate to make an offer. Act quickly because good homes, priced correctly with low inventory, sell quickly. Historically, Hamptons real estate is a good investment.

What’s it like to be on Team Saunders?
Saunders is a polished brokerage that you encounter as soon as you walk into one of the offices. Impeccable style, impeccable support and a truly warm professional environment, which is rare!

What do you like about life in the Hamptons?
You can be as private and discreet as you want, enjoying the countryside and beautiful beaches, or be as social and chic as you want, at events and lavish restaurants that only the Hamptons can offer!

Now, a fun question! Where is your favorite place to eat a lobster roll in the region?
I love lobster rolls! Hands down, my favorites are at the Shinnecock Lobster Factory in Southampton. From buttery roll to savory lobster, it’s a perfectly scrumptious treat all year round!
