Take a look at a 7-bedroom house in Dallas with a garage that can accommodate more than 10 cars

At 10,888 square feet, this Dallas home has considerable indoor space plus a backyard with a new pool, large upstairs balcony, and additional outdoor entertaining areas.

The home sits on a private, gated 0.65 acre lot near Walnut Hill Lane and the Dallas North Tollway. The newly built home was completed this year, the listing agent said, and features seven bedrooms, multiple living areas and a garage that can hold more than 10 cars.

Co-listing agent Susan Baldwin of Allie Beth Allman & Associates said the seller of this property originally intended this house and the two others next to it to be like a family compound. But plans changed and the other two houses were sold. This house, Baldwin said, is “the creme de la creme.” It’s bigger and has a more custom design with a “premium finish”.

“I think the overall vibe of this house is like you’re at a resort,” Baldwin said. “I think it’s very calming.”

The master suite and another bedroom are on the first level. The master suite features a large bedroom with room for a sitting area, a walk-in closet, a bathroom with two sinks, two toilets, and a separate tub and shower, according to the floor plan. The master suite has access to an outdoor patio separated from the larger patio by a fireplace. The additional downstairs bedroom also has an en-suite bathroom.

The first level of the house has several living areas, including an office, a living room and a living room, as well as the kitchen and the dining room. The contemporary design of the home is evident in the clean, crisp lines and sleek design of the fireplace that divides the living room and living room. In the living room there is a wine cellar which adds visual interest. Nearby, the kitchen – a Poggenpohl design, according to the listing – is open to the dining area. Much of the home’s living space is connected by large openings that give the space an open concept feel.

Upstairs there are five further bedrooms – each with an en-suite bathroom and dressing room – a laundry room, a games room (with a bar) and a media room. The upper level also has a balcony.

The property has a swimming pool, a screened patio, a fireplace and a kitchenette. The garage of the house can accommodate 10 cars and is temperature controlled. Baldwin said more cars could fit in the garage if elevators were used.

“It’s definitely for enthusiasts,” Baldwin said.

The house at 9646 Douglas Ave. is listed for $12,999,000 by Susan Baldwin, Simone Jeanes and Marc Ching of Allie Beth Allman & Associates.
